In Jain Dharma, going to the temple (derasar) requires sharir ki shuddhi (physical purity) and man ki shanti (mental purity).

After sexual activity:

1. First do proper snan (bath)

- Wash your whole body well. - Change into completely clean, fresh clothes. - Make sure there is no physical impurity on the body.

1. Then make your mind calm

- Sexual thoughts, excitement, or passion should be quietened. - Before entering the temple, try to bring thoughts towards dev, guru, dharma. - Do not go in a joking or casual mood.

1. Respect for the temple

- Temple is a very pavitra (pure) place. - Just like we don’t enter a mandir with shoes or dirty clothes, we should also not enter with impure body or disturbed mind.

1. Jain view on sexuality

- For householders (shravaks), limited and disciplined grihasth jeevan is allowed, but: - Brahmacharya (control over sensuality) is praised as a higher vow. - Going to temple just after sex, without bath and without mental purity, is not proper from Jain point of view.

So, yes, you may go to the temple only after:

• Full bath
• Clean clothes
• Calming the mind and turning it towards devotion

Otherwise, it is better to wait, purify yourself, and then go with full shraddha and respect.
