At Shatrunjay, best is: don’t take the phone with you into pooja at all.

According to the maryada followed there:

• Inside the Shatrunjay temple complex / tonks:

Mobiles are not allowed to be used; photography is prohibited.

• Before starting yatra or pooja:

- Keep your phone in your room / dharmashala locker, or - Deposit it in a locker / safe custody counter if available, or - At least keep it fully switched off in your bag, not in your hand or pocket, and do not touch it till you return.

From Jain dharma point of view, pooja and tirth-yatra should be done with ekāgratā (single‑pointed focus), so any distraction like a phone should be kept away from the body during darshan, abhishek and chaitya-vandan.
