During the pregnancy wich mantra is good to speak
In Jain Dharma, there is no separate “pregnancy-only” mantra, but some universal Jain mantras are especially recommended during pregnancy for shanti (peace), good bhav (pure thoughts) and pavitra sanskars for the baby.
1. Navkar / Namokar Mantra – best and safest for all time
This is the main and most sacred mantra for every situation, including pregnancy (for both Digambar and Shwetambar).
Prakrit text (full form):
Simple meaning (arth): I bow to:
- Arihant – those who have destroyed inner enemies (anger, pride, deceit, greed)
- Siddha – liberated souls
- Acharya – heads of the Jain order
- Upadhyaya – spiritual teachers
- All Sadhus – all monks and nuns
This five‑fold bowing destroys sins (paap) and is the first and highest of all auspicious things.
How to do in pregnancy:
- Chant slowly, with understanding, every morning and night.
- If possible, 9, 27, or 108 times; but even a few times with true bhakti is good.
- Sit peacefully, avoid phone/TV at that time, keep mind calm and positive.

2. “Ucchvās–niḥśvās” with Navkar
If full chanting is difficult (nausea, weakness etc.):
- Just sit quietly, take deep breath in and out slowly, and mentally repeat:
- Even silent smaran (remembering) of Navkar is very powerful for shanti of mother and baby.

3. What else is good during pregnancy (Jain view)
Along with mantra:
- Listen / read Jain stories – life of Tirthankars, Mata Trishalā’s 14/16 dreams etc.
- Maintain ahimsa – careful eating, avoid violence even in thoughts.
- Avoid krodh (anger), bhay (fear), zyada chinta (over‑worry) – these create ashanti inside.

Summary: For pregnancy, the best and safest mantra is Navkar (Namokar) Mantra. Chant daily, calmly and with shraddha. No special or risky ritual is needed; shuddh bhav and regular Navkar itself is the greatest protection and blessing for mother and child in Jain Dharma.
