In Jainism, the celestial being (deva) known as Saudharm Indra is the king of the first heaven, Saudharma, and is considered the chief of the heavenly gods. According to Jain texts, particularly in the context of the lives of Tirthankaras, it is often Kuber (also called Kubera or Sarvanubhuti) who is depicted as sometimes feeling jealous or envious of Saudharm Indra due to his superior position and honor among the gods.

Additionally, in some stories, other heavenly beings or Indras of lower heavens may also feel a sense of envy towards Saudharm Indra because he is given special privileges, especially during the events surrounding the birth and life of Tirthankaras, where Saudharm Indra plays a central role.

Therefore, Kuber or other minor Indras may be described as jealous of Saudharm Indra in Jain narratives.
