Shikharji (Sammed Shikharji) was not “founded” by any human being in Jain belief.

• It is a natural, eternal tirth kshetra (holy place) where, according to Jain scriptures, 20 out of 24 Tirthankaras attained moksha (nirvana), including Bhagwan Parshvanath.
• Because Tirthankaras themselves attained liberation there, it is considered self‑sanctified by their tapas and samadhi, not “established” by a king, acharya, or architect.
• Over time, many kings, shravaks and sanghs built temples, jinalayas, dharmashalas, and paths on the hill, but they are only constructors of buildings, not “founders” of Shikharji as a tirth.

So, in Jain dharma, no person is called the founder of Shikharji; it is revered as a naturally sacred place made holy by the Tirthankaras’ moksha.
