Today is 10th day of my period.. after 2 days can i go to 6 gaav jatra
In Jain Dharma, menstruation is seen as a natural bodily process, not a sin.
From what you wrote:
- Today is your 10th day.
- After 2 days means you will be on about the 12th day of your cycle.
- Normally, bleeding and the “rajasvala” phase are over much earlier (often 3–5 days). After bleeding stops and you take a full bath with clean clothes, you can resume mandir / jatra / pooja as per usual maryada. ( jainknowledge.com)
So, from a Jain point of view: If your periods (bleeding) have already finished and you have done a proper full bath (including head wash) and are clean and comfortable, then going for 6 gaav jatra after 2 days is generally okay according to Jain principles.
Only 2 things to check:
- Your health – If you feel weak, do not force yourself. Ahimsa starts with not harming your own body.
- Local / family maryada – Some families or sanghs keep extra rules (like “don’t go for x days even after periods”). Follow them if they apply in your home or with the group going to jatra. ( jainknowledge.com)
If bleeding has completely stopped and your family maryada also allows, then you can go to the 6 gaav jatra.
