    Here are some notable Jain personalities, kept very simple and brief:

    1. Bhagwan Rishabhdev (Adinath)

    - 1st Tirthankar of this time-cycle. - Taught people basic living: farming, arts, social order, etc. - Considered the founder-teacher of Jain Dharma in this era.

    1. Bhagwan Parshvanath

    - 23rd Tirthankar. - Lived before Mahavira; revived and strengthened Jain path. - Taught 4 great vows: non‑violence, truth, non‑stealing, non‑possession.

    1. Bhagwan Mahavira

    - 24th (last) Tirthankar of this era. - Lived around 6th century BCE. - Gave the full path of Right Faith, Right Knowledge, Right Conduct. - Strong emphasis on ahimsa (non‑violence) towards all living beings.

    1. Gautam Gandhar (Indrabhuti Gautam)

    - Main chief disciple (Gandhar) of Bhagwan Mahavira. - Attained keval‑jnan (infinite knowledge) after removing his doubts. - Known for deep knowledge and humility.

    1. Acharya Kundkund (Digambar tradition)

    - One of the greatest Digambar Acharyas. - Wrote texts like Samayasāra, Pravacanasāra, Niyamasāra. - Explained the pure nature of soul and real path to liberation.

    1. Acharya Umasvati / Umaswami

    - Revered in both Digambar and Shwetambar traditions. - Author of Tattvartha Sutra – the main Jain philosophical text accepted by both sects. - Systematically explained Jain principles (soul, karma, vows, etc.).

    1. Acharya Haribhadrasuri (Shwetambar tradition)

    - Great scholar‑monk. - Wrote many texts, explained Jainism in very logical way. - Known for tolerance and broad understanding while firmly rooted in Jain Dharma.

    1. Acharya Hemachandrasuri (Shwetambar tradition)

    - Scholar, grammarian, and spiritual guide to kings. - Helped spread non‑violence and supported Jain values at royal courts. - Wrote many works on grammar, ethics, and Jain philosophy.

    1. Acharya Shantisagar Ji Maharaj (Digambar, modern era)

    - Reviver of traditional Digambar muni‑dharma in 20th century. - Practised very strict vows and inspired many to accept monkhood. - Remembered for great renunciation and discipline.

    1. Shrimad Rajchandra

    - Great Jain shravak (lay follower) and spiritual thinker. - Emphasised inner purity, self‑realisation, and ahimsa. - Wrote Atma‑Siddhi Shastra and many letters and poems on true dharma.

    1. Virchand Raghavji Gandhi

    - Jain lay scholar from 19th century. - Represented Jainism at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago (1893). - Introduced Jain principles of ahimsa and anekantvad (many‑sidedness of truth) to the West.

    These are only a few names; Jain history has thousands of notable monks, nuns, and laypeople. All of them are respected because they lived by the core Jain values: ahimsa, truth, self‑control, and compassion for every living being.
