In Jainism:

1. There is no creator God.

- The universe is beginningless and endless. - It runs by its own natural laws and by karma, not by the will of a creator.

1. But we do pray and do bhakti. To whom?

Jains offer devotion and respect to: - Arihant / Tirthankaras – living or historical enlightened beings who have destroyed inner enemies (anger, ego, deceit, greed). - Siddhas – fully liberated souls who have gone to Siddha‑shila. - Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and Sadhus – great saints and teachers on the path.

We do not pray to them as creators or controllers of the universe, but: - to admire their qualities, - to take inspiration from their life, - to purify our own mind and progress towards moksha.

1. What do Jains ask for in prayer?

Ideally, not money, success, or miracles, but: - right faith, right knowledge, right conduct, - strength to follow ahimsa (non‑violence), self‑control, and purity.

So, in Jainism there is no creator God, but there is prayer and worship—directed towards perfected souls (Arihant, Siddha) and great teachers, as ideals we wish to follow, not as creators who can change destiny.
