You can make a very beautiful Jain‑themed housie (tambola) specially for Varshitap like this:

1. Basic Idea
Keep the same fun of housie, but instead of only numbers, use Jain tapas / Varshitap concepts, words and patterns so that:
- Players remember Jain principles
- The environment stays spiritual and light
- It suits Varshitap tapasvi and satsang
You can use either:
- Normal numbered housie with Jain-style “calling lines”, or
- Jain Word Housie (no numbers, only Jain words)
Below is a ready-made format you can use.

2. Option A – Normal Number Housie with Jain Calls
Use normal tickets (1–90). But when you call a number, say it with a Jain / Varshitap line.

You can adapt numbers as you wish; here is a sample:

You don’t have to cover every number – just prepare 20–30 special ones and say normal lines for the rest.

- Full Housie – “Poorna Varshitap Vijay” or “Param Tapasvi”

3. Option B – Jain Word Housie for Varshitap (No Numbers)
This is more special for a Varshitap function.
How to Make Tickets
- Decide about 25–30 Jain words related to tapas / Varshitap.
- Each ticket should have 15 words (5×3 grid like a normal housie).
- Caller keeps the same list of words on small chits in a bowl.
When playing:
- Caller picks one chit, says the meaning aloud.
- Players have to guess which word it is and cut it if it is on their ticket.
- After a few seconds, caller also says the exact word so all are clear.
Suggested Jain Words List (with very simple meaning)
You can use these directly:
- Varshitap – One year alternate-day fasting tapasya
- Upvas – Full day without food (and ideally water) for dharm
- Ekasana – Eating only once, at one place
- Beasana – Eating twice, at two sittings
- Ayambil – Eating tasteless, simple food, no oil/ghee, no taste
- Tapasya – Any form of religious penance
- Samayik – Sitting in equality, dhyaan & prarthana for 48 minutes
- Pratikraman – Thinking of past mistakes and asking forgiveness
- Kayotsarg – Still meditation, leaving body‑consciousness
- Japa – Repetition of holy mantra
- Navkar Mantra – Main Jain mantra, bowing to Panch Parmeshthi
- Panch Parmeshthi – Arihant, Siddha, Acharya, Upadhyay, Sadhu
- Ahimsa – Non‑violence in mind, speech, body
- Aparigraha – Non‑possessiveness, less desires
- Satya – Truthfulness
- Brahmacharya – Control over sensual pleasures

- Tirthankar – Omniscient Lord who establishes Jain sangh
- Anekant – Many‑sidedness, seeing different viewpoints
- Nirjara – Shedding of karmas through tapasya
You can add more if you like, but this much is enough.
Example of Caller’s Style
Caller picks chit: “Living one whole year with alternate-day fast – which word?” Players think, then caller says: “Answer: Varshitap.”
Next chit: “Simple, tasteless food, no oil or masala – which word?” Answer: “Ayambil.”
This way, even children and family learn Jain terms while playing.

- Any 3 words – “Chhota Tapasvi”
- Any 5 words – “Bal Tapasvi”
- First full line – “Ek Tithi Upvas Purti”
- Second line – “Masakshaman Purti”
