Jainism was not “written” by any one person like a book.

In Jain dharma we understand it like this:

1. Dharma is eternal (śāśvata)

- Jainism is not created by any human, god, or prophet. - It is the eternal truth of the soul, karma, non‑violence etc., which always exists in the universe.

1. Tirthankaras “re‑discover” and teach it

- In every time‑cycle, when true dharma becomes lost or forgotten, a Tirthankara appears. - Tirthankaras like Bhagwan Rishabhdev (1st) and Bhagwan Mahavir (24th of current time‑cycle) re‑discover and preach this eternal Jain dharma. - So we say: “Jain dharma is anādi‑ananta” (without beginning and without end).

1. Scriptures were composed later by disciples

- Bhagwan Mahavir gave divya‑dhvani (pure omniscient speech). - His main disciples, the Gaṇadhars, and later Āchāryas, compiled this teaching into scriptures. - So texts were written by acharyas, but the dharma itself is not man‑made.

In short:

• No one “wrote” Jainism.
• Jainism is eternal truth, re‑shown by Tirthankaras like Bhagwan Mahavir, and written down by their disciples and āchāryas.
