Jai jai aarti Aadi
“Jai Jai Aarti Aadi Jinanda” is a very popular Jain ārtī in praise of Bhagwan Ādinath (Aadi Jinendra / Rishabhdev), the first Tirthankar.

- Jai jai ārtī Aadi Jinanda – We bow again and again while doing ārtī of Aadi Jinendra Bhagwan.

When is it sung?
- Generally sung as a temple ārtī after Pūjā / Pakkhī / Snātra, especially in Śvetāmbara derāsars.
- It is focused on devotion (bhakti) but its real purpose is to awaken inner purity and desire for moksha, not to ask for material things.
If you want, you can use it like this in daily practice:
- First recite Navkār Mantra.
- Then sing/chant “Jai Jai Aarti Aadi Jinanda” slowly, with full shraddhā and awareness of Bhagwan’s gunas (qualities).
- At the end, sit 1–2 minutes in silence, remembering:
- “I also want to become gunī (full of virtues) like Bhagwan, by removing my own karmas.”
Since there is no official single “canonical” text for this ārtī in the Āgams, the exact words can slightly differ from book to book and sangh to sangh. For the exact lyrics that your local derāsar uses, it is best to follow:
- Your derāsar’s aarti book, or
- The stavans / aarti book recommended by your own guru / sampradāy.
