In Jainism, human birth (manushya gati / manushya bhav) is considered extremely important and very rare. Main reasons:

- Both traditions fully agree that manushya bhav is supremely valuable and rare, and is the main path toward moksha. - They differ on some details (e.g., role of male/female body at final stage), but not on the basic point that human birth is the key opportunity for spiritual uplift. In simple words: Jainism says – after wandering through countless births, we have got this human life. Only now can we clearly know ourselves, change our karmas, and walk toward liberation. So every day of human life should be used carefully for dharma, self‑control, and purity, not only for enjoyment.
