• This is the tithi from which you begin the alternate-day upvās/ekāsan/anuppās as per your niyam.

2. End / Pārṇā of Varshitap

• Tithi: Vaishakh Shukla Tritiya (Akṣay Tritiya) of the next year

– i.e. Vaishakh Shukla 3 of Vikram Samvat 2084

• On this day, Varshitap Pārṇā is done in remembrance of Bhagwān Ādināth’s Varshitap and his first āhār from Śreyāns Kumār.

So the 2026 Varshitap cycle is:
