Typical simple schedule:

• From 26 March 2026 (first upvas) till 19 April 2026 (parna)
• Alternate–day fasting (varshi-tap):

- One day upvas (fast) - Next day bhojan (aayambil or simple meal, as guided by your guru/sangh) - Continue this pattern up to Akshay Tritiya, then do parna on that day.

Important notes
