Meher and bafna can get married
In Jain Dharma, marriage rules are not based on surnames like Meher or Bafna.
From a Jain religious point of view:
- There is no scriptural ban on a Meher and a Bafna marrying.
- What matters is:
Things like gotra, caste, surname, community, etc. are social and family traditions, not core Jain dharma. Families or samaj may have their own customs, but strictly in terms of Jain religion, Meher and Bafna can marry if the above conditions are satisfied.
