Varshi Tap (Varshitap) does not have one fixed English-calendar date every year. It always starts according to the Jain lunar calendar.

Standard rule (for most Jain traditions):

• Start: Chaitra Shukla Ashtami (8th day of the bright half of Chaitra)
• End / Pārṇā: Vaishakh Shukla Tritiya (Akshay Tritiya) with sugarcane juice

So:

• Every year, the start date in English (Gregorian) calendar changes.
• To know the exact start date for your city and year, you must check a Jain Panchang or local Jain Sangh calendar for that year.

For 2026, JainKnowledge also explains that Varshitap starts on Chaitra Shukla Ashtami and ends on Vaishakh Shukla Tritiya (Akshay Tritiya) according to the Jain calendar. You can read more here
