“Ichakarenam” (properly Icchākāreṇaṁ / Ichhakarenam) is a Prakrit word/phrase used in Jain Samayik–Alochana sutra.

In simple English it means:

> “I desire, if you permit, O Lord …” > or > “With my own wish (and with your permission)…”

It is a humble way of saying that of my own desire, with your permission, I now wish to begin / introspect / do this act.
