    Can tou makeVarshitap calender

    6 months ago 106

I can definitely help you with a Varshitap calendar template, but to make an exact date‑wise calendar I need two details from you:

    1. Which year? (e.g. 2026–2027 Varshitap)
    2. Your city / country? (Varshitap starts as per local Jain panchang, so dates change by place and year.)

    ---

Basic Varshitap Pattern (for 13 months)

Traditional Varshitap (Lord Rishabhdev’s tapasya) is usually done for 13 lunar months with this simple rule:

    • Day 1: Upvaas (full fast)
    • Day 2: Ayambil (one time, tasteless meal)
    • Then repeat this pattern (Upvaas – Ayambil – Upvaas – Ayambil …)
    • Continue for about 13 months, ending on Akshaya Tritiya with Parna.

    So over the whole Varshitap:

    • Roughly half the days are Upvaas
    • Half the days are Ayambil

    ---

    Simple Varshitap Calendar Template

You can create your own calendar like this:

    1. Mark Start Day (from your local panchang, usually Chaitra Krishna / as announced by your sangh).
    2. Then write like this:

Month 1 (from Day 1 to Day 30 approximately)

    • Day 1 – Upvaas
    • Day 2 – Ayambil
    • Day 3 – Upvaas
    • Day 4 – Ayambil
    • … continue alternating till the end of the month.

    Month 2, 3, … up to Month 13

    • Continue the same alternation of Upvaas / Ayambil every other day.

    Last Day (Akshaya Tritiya)

    • Early morning: complete last Upvaas / Ayambil as per your pattern
    • Then do Parna with proper vidhi, under guidance of Guru / Pathshala / Sangh.

    ---

Important Points (Both Digambar & Shwetambar)

    • Always follow your local Guru / Sangh:
They decide the exact start date, akshaya tritiya, and parna vidhi according to their tradition.
    • Some do Upvaas–Upvaas–Ayambil cycle, some do only Upvaas every second day; follow the niyam you have taken from Guru Bhagwant.
    • Do not change niyam in between without proper updesh.

    ---

    If you send:

    • Year (e.g. “Varshitap starting in March 2026”)
    • Your city (e.g. “Mumbai, India” or “Chicago, USA”)

I can then lay out a day‑wise table (Day 1, Day 2, … with U/A pattern) that you can copy into a notebook or Excel and then just fill in the actual dates from your local Jain calendar.
