Show me varshitap calendar of 2026-2027

For a proper Varshitap 2026–2027 calendar (day‑by‑day), you will need a Jain panchang and the specific schedule issued by your local sangh or guru. The exact dates differ slightly by:

    • Which Jain panchang you follow (Khartar, Tapā, etc.)
    • City / country time‑zone and moon‑sighting
    • How your guru adjusts for adhik māsa / kṣaya tithi, etc.

Because of this, I cannot reliably give you a ready‑made, exact day‑wise calendar for 2026–27 from here. But I can tell you the standard Jain rule and how your 2026–27 Varshitap will be fixed:

    1. Traditional rule (Śvetāmbara):

    - Start: Chaitra Shukla Ashtamī (8th tithi of bright half of Chaitra) - Parnā: Next year on Vaiśākh Shukla Tritiyā (Akṣaya Tritiyā)

    1. For the 2026 cycle (as per JainKnowledge):

    - Varshitap is taken as starting on Chaitra Shukla 8 - Parnā in 2026 (for that particular one‑year cycle) comes on Monday, 20 April 2026 – Vaiśākh Shukla 3 (Akṣaya Tritiyā) You can see this explained on JainKnowledge here: and here:

    1. For a 2026–2027 Varshitap:

    - You would again: - Take sankalp and begin according to your guru’s instruction (generally Chaitra Shukla Ashtamī of 2026 or Falgun/Chaitra Ashtamī depending on tradition). - Do alternate‑day upvās and beyasan/ekāsan for about 13 lunar months + 13 days. - End with Parnā on Akṣaya Tritiyā of 2027 (Vaiśākh Shukla 3, 2027) – your local panchang will give you the exact English date for that Akṣaya Tritiyā.

    1. How to get the full calendar:

    - Ask your local guru / sādhu‑sādhvī / pāṭhśālā teacher for the official Varshitap diary or printed calendar for 2026–27. - Or use a Jain panchang app / book for 2026–27 and, once you know: - The start tithi (Chaitra Shukla 8 of 2026, as fixed by your sangh), and - The parnā tithi (Vaishakh Shukla 3, 2027), then simply mark: - Every other day as upvās (fast) - The in‑between days as beyasan / ekāsan according to your niyam.

    1. Why I’m not listing all the dates:

    - The tithi–to–Gregorian mapping for 2026–27 changes by location and panchang, and 2026 has adhik māsa in many calendars, which can change counts. - To keep the Jain dharmic accuracy intact, it is better to follow an authorized printed calendar rather than a guessed list.
