For the Kothari surname there is no single fixed Kuldevi for all Kotharis in Jain tradition.

In Jain sampradāya:

• Kuldevi/Kuldev is a family- and region-based tradition (lokik paramparā), not a universal rule of Jain Dharma.
• Even among Kothari Jains, Kuldevi changes by:

- Gotra / nukh - Native village / region (Rajasthan, Gujarat, etc.) - Specific family lineage

So two Kothari families can have completely different Kuldevis.

• For a Jain, main sharaṇ is always Arihant, Siddha, Āchārya, Upādhyāya, and Sādhu (Panch Parmesthi).
