• Vastra‑gopana – proper handling/keeping of clothes
• Bālaka‑kṛīḍanaka – making toys
• Chitrayoga – decoration and painting
• Mālya‑grathana – garland‑making
• Maṇibandha‑vidyā – bracelet/ornament making
• Śarīra‑mādhya – body beautification (grooming, make‑up etc.)
• Vastra‑racana – designing clothes

Jain viewpoint: These kalā are respected as part of civilized social life, but they are laukik (worldly). The real goal in Jain Dharma is śuddha ātmā and moksha, so even these skills should not increase attachment, pride, or himsā. Over many lives, a soul moves from enjoying such arts to ultimately renouncing them on the path of sādhu/sādhvī dharma.
