Shri Neminath Bhagwan derasar

Shri Neminath (Aristanemi) is the 22nd Tirthankar, and many beautiful derasars (Jain temples) are dedicated to him, especially in Gujarat.

Some important Neminath Bhagwan derasars:

1. Shri Girnar Tirth (Revatgiri / Raivatachal, near Junagadh, Gujarat)

- This is the main moksh-bhoomi of Shri Neminath Bhagwan. - Here he took diksha, attained keval‑jnan, and finally moksha. - On Girnar, there is a large Neminath Bhagwan derasar with his mulnayak idol, and many small temples and footprints (charan) connected to his life and tapasya. - More details:

- Girnar (main tirth, as above). - Sammed Shikharji – among many Tirthankar footprints, there is also a shrine connected with Neminath Bhagwan (though his actual moksha is at Girnar). - On many Shatrunjay / Palitana tonks and in various city derasars, you will often find a Neminath murti (with shankha – conch shell – as his lanchhan).

• Moolnayak: Shri Neminath Bhagwan in padmasan or khadgasana.
• Lanchhan (symbol): Shankha (conch).
• Usual ashta‑prakari puja, jal‑abhishek, and stavan / stuti related to Neminath’s compassion (leaving marriage after seeing animals to be killed).
• Derasars often highlight ahimsa as the central message of his life.
