In Jain tradition, every Tirthankar’s śāsan (dispensation) includes countless great tapasvis (performers of very intense austerities) – monks, nuns and even laypeople. However, our main scriptures and popular śāsan‑yantra charts usually list for each Tirthankar:

• Ganadhars (chief disciples)
• Chakravarti, Baldev, Vasudev, Prativasudev
• Important kulkars, yaksha–yakshini, etc.

They do not give one fixed, universally‑accepted list titled “major tapasvis” for each Tirthankar’s period, especially for Bhagwan Neminath (22nd) and Bhagwan Munisuvrat Swami (20th). Different purāṇ and kathā‑granth mention many individual tapasvis, but the names and emphasis vary by text and by tradition (Digambar / Shwetambar).

Because of that, if I start giving a short “top list” of tapasvis for these two śāsans by name, it is very easy to mix up names from different purāṇ, or present one sampradāy’s version as if it is final for all Jains – which would be inaccurate and unfair.

• Ask your Guru / Jain teacher which grantha or paramparā‑chart they follow for shasan details of Bhagwan Neminath and Munisuvrat.
• Use that specific tradition’s list, clearly labeled (e.g. “as per XYZ granth / Sampradāy”).

I prefer not to guess or mix traditions and give you possibly wrong names; that would go against the aim of preserving pure and accurate Jain dharma.
