In Jain tradition, there is no single fixed “Bantiya / Banthia kuldevi” for everyone with that surname or family.

A few important points:

1. Jain dharma’s main refuge is:

- Panch Parmeshthi: Arihant, Siddha, Acharya, Upadhyaya, Sadhu - Especially the 24 Tirthankars – not kuldevi or dev-devis.

1. Kuldevi is a family/custom-based devata, not a compulsory part of Jain shastra.

- Even within one surname like Bantiya/Banthia, different families can have different kuldevis (or none at all). - Names are usually known from: - Old family “kul-patrika” / “vanshavali” - Elder family members (dada-dadi, nana-nani, chacha, etc.) - Old temple or dev-sthan your family traditionally visited.

1. Because of this, no Jain scripture will say “Bantiya kuldevi is XYZ”.

It is a family tradition, not a universal rule for all Bantiya Jains.

1. From pure Jain viewpoint:

- Best is to put full shraddha in Jinendra Bhagwan and Panch Parmeshthi. - If your family has a kuldevi tradition, you may respect it, but always keep Jin Puja and Samayik, Pratikraman, Swadhyay, etc. as primary.

To know your exact kuldevi, you will need to:

• Ask your parents/elders specifically: “Hamare vansh ki kuldevi kaun hai?”
• Check any old family records, photos, or mandir visits connected with your family line.
