Meaning of tam manatungamavasha samupaiti lakshmi
The line is:
“तं मानतुंगमवशं समुपैति लक्ष्मीः” tam mānatuṅgam avaśaṁ samupaiti lakṣmīḥ
Simple meaning (arth): Because of his deep devotion to the Jina (Lord Ādināth), even Lakṣmī – the goddess of wealth, prosperity and good fortune – comes under the control of that devotee, Āchārya Mānatunga.
In other words: One who is fully devoted to the Vītarāg Bhagavān becomes so spiritually elevated that all kinds of prosperity naturally come under his command. Worldly “Lakṣmī” (wealth) is shown as secondary and subservient to true spiritual greatness.
