Who attain Keval gyan by anaytva bhavna

    one year ago 178

In Jainism, Keval Gyan (omniscience or absolute knowledge) is the highest form of knowledge, attained by a soul that has completely destroyed all four _ghatiya karmas_ (knowledge-obscuring, perception-obscuring, deluding, and obstructive karmas).

Anaytva Bhavna is one of the twelve Bhavnas (reflections or contemplations), and it means contemplation on "otherness"—the realization that the soul is distinct and separate from the body, mind, possessions, and relations.

According to Jain philosophy, Anaytva Bhavna is an important reflection that helps a practitioner develop detachment and reduce passions (kashayas), which in turn aids in the destruction of karmas. However, Keval Gyan is not attained solely by practicing Anaytva Bhavna. It is attained by the complete annihilation of all ghatiya karmas, which is a result of practicing all necessary spiritual disciplines, including:

    • Right faith (Samyak Darshan)
    • Right knowledge (Samyak Gyan)
    • Right conduct (Samyak Charitra)
    • Regular practice of the twelve bhavnas (including Anaytva Bhavna)

Thus, while Anaytva Bhavna is a supportive contemplation that helps purify the soul and is practiced by those on the path to Keval Gyan, no one attains Keval Gyan solely by Anaytva Bhavna. It is the combined effect of all spiritual practices that leads to Keval Gyan.

Summary: Anaytva Bhavna supports the path to Keval Gyan but, according to Jain teachings, Keval Gyan is attained only after the complete eradication of all ghatiya karmas through the integrated practice of right faith, knowledge, conduct, and all twelve bhavnas.
