For Jaiswal Jains, there is no single common Kuldevi for all families.

In Jain tradition:

• Kuldevi / Kuldevta is family‑specific, not surname‑specific.

Even if two families are “Jaiswal”, their kuldevi can be different.

• It depends on:

- your lineage / gotra - your ancestral village or region - whether your family is Digambar or Shwetambar - what your ancestors decided to worship

Commonly worshipped devis (depending on tradition and region) include:

• Shwetambar families – often Padmāvatī, Chakreśvarī, Ambikā, etc.
• Digambar families – often Ambikā, Jvālāmālinī (Kushmaṇḍinī), etc.
• Some Oswal‑related lineages (like Dugar etc.) have Suswani Mata, Sachiya Mata, etc. as kuldevi, but this again is by that specific lineage, not for all Jaiswals.

How to know your own Jaiswal kuldevi

The only reliable way is to check your family’s tradition:

1. Ask grandparents / elders – they usually know the exact kuldevi name.
2. See old pooja books, wedding cards, or vrat / sankalp lines – often the kuldevi name is written.
3. Check which temple your family specially visits (especially at marriages, new house, new business) and which devi is worshipped there.
4. If you know your gotra and region, local Jain elders or your family’s guru can also guide.

Also remember: In pure Jain siddhānt, main worship is of the Tirthankaras (like Ādināth, Pārśvanāth, Mahāvīr Swāmī). Kuldevi / kuldevta is a family and social tradition, not a mandatory part of Jain doctrine.
