For the year 2026, Jain calendars are not fully uniform about Samvatsari, so it is important to follow your local Jain sangh’s panchang. Broadly:

• Śvetāmbara Samvatsari (last day of Paryushan):

Many Jain panchangs place it on Friday, 28 August 2026 (Bhadrapad Shukla Panchami).

• Digambar Kṣamāvaṇī (forgiveness day, often loosely also called Samvatsari):

Commonly shown as Sunday, 6 September 2026 in 2026 calendars.

• In some regions (especially certain Gujarati/ institutional calendars), Samvatsari is shown on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 because they follow a different tithi‑calculation / lunisolar convention.

Because of these differences, for actual observance you should rely on the panchang and announcement of your own derāsar / sangh / guru-varg for 2026.
