Bhaktamar Stotra is a Sanskrit hymn composed in praise of Bhagwan Adinath (Rishabhdev), the first Tirthankar.

- “Bhakta” = devotee - “Amar” = immortal So, Bhaktamar means “the immortal devotion of a devotee” or “immortal garland of devotion”.

- In Digambar tradition: generally 48 shlokas - In Shwetambar tradition: generally 44 shlokas The bhav and purpose are the same in both.

• What is it about?

Each verse praises the infinite qualities, purity, knowledge, and compassion of Bhagwan Adinath, and expresses deep bhakti (devotion), asking for: - removal of obstacles and fears - peace of mind - spiritual progress and ultimately moksha.
