who is jain
In Jainism, a "Jain" is a follower of the teachings of Lord Mahavira and the other Tirthankaras. Jains adhere to the principles of Jain Dharma, which emphasizes non-violence (ahimsa), truth (satya), non-stealing (asteya), celibacy (brahmacharya), and non-possessiveness (aparigraha). A Jain practices self-restraint, compassion towards all living beings, and seeks liberation (moksha) from the cycle of birth and death by following the path shown by the Tirthankaras.
