In Jainism, the consumption of any intoxicants, including weed (cannabis), is strictly discouraged and considered a violation of the ethical code. The Jain vow of "Surā-meraya-mada-mamsa-tyāga" specifically prohibits the use of alcohol, drugs, and other intoxicants. Therefore, smoking weed is not permitted for Jains who wish to follow the core principles of their faith.
