Chaturmas jain monk list
“Chaturmas Jain monk list” is not one fixed list for all Jains.
Every year, each city’s Jain sangh (and each acharya’s sangh) decides:
- Which muni / aryika / sadhvi will stay where
- For which four months of Chaturmas
- According to their own tradition (Śvetāmbara Mūrtipūjak, Sthānakvāsī, Terāpanth, Digambar, etc.)
So there is:
- No single official all‑India list
- Lists are usually shared locally: temple/derasar notice boards, WhatsApp groups, sangh booklets, or by phone from the sangh office
- Some independent websites and apps try to compile lists (e.g. “Jain Muni Locator”), but they may not be 100% complete or updated
To help you properly, I need at least:
- Year – e.g. Chaturmas 2026, 2027, etc.
- City/area – e.g. Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, your town name, etc.
- Tradition – e.g.
- Śvetāmbara Mūrtipūjak - Śvetāmbara Sthānakvāsī - Terāpanth - Digambar
Once you tell me these three details, I can guide you:
- How to find the exact list for your city this year
- Which sangh/derasar or website/app to contact/check for current Chaturmas sthiti of monks and sadhvis
