Should we give one khamasamna after one circumambulation
Generally, one does not give a khamasamna after every single circumambulation.
In Jain practice, khamāsamaṇa / kshamāpanā is usually done:
- before or after darshan
- before and after chaityavandan
- or as part of a specific devotional ritual
Pradakshina (circumambulation) is done with reverence, but khamasamna after one round is not a fixed universal rule. It may vary by tradition, temple custom, and local practice.
So the simple answer is:
- If it is just one circumambulation: not necessarily.
- If your temple or guru’s tradition instructs it: then follow that method.
In Jain dharma, the main thing is bhav, vinay, and shuddha bhakti.
