Who is better the creator god or the tirthankar?
In Jain Dharma, there is no creator God.
A Tirthankar is not a creator, but a fully enlightened soul who discovers and teaches the path to liberation. So in Jain understanding:
- Creator god: not accepted
- Tirthankar: highest spiritual teacher, guide, and liberated exemplar
Therefore, the question of “who is better” is answered in this way: A Tirthankar is spiritually श्रेष्ठ (higher) because they show the true path to moksha, but they do not create the world. The universe is without a creator in Jain philosophy.
In short:
- God as creator — not a Jain concept
- Tirthankar — revered as the supreme guide on the path of liberation
If you want, I can also explain this in simple Hindi or with a Jain scriptural perspective.
