    Children stories jainism

    5 months ago 100

Here are a few simple Jain children’s stories with a moral:

    1. The Kind Elephant

A gentle elephant lived near a forest. He never hurt any animal and always shared water and shade with others. One day, thirsty animals came to him, and he happily helped them all. Moral: A Jain way of life values ahimsa and kindness to all living beings.

    2. The Honest Boy

A small boy found some coins on the road. He wanted to keep them, but he remembered that stealing is wrong. So he returned them to the owner. Moral: Jainism teaches satya and honesty.

    3. The Tortoise and the Pigeons

A tortoise was friends with a group of pigeons. When a hunter came, the pigeons helped the tortoise stay safe by lifting him carefully with a stick. The tortoise learned to trust good friends and stay calm. Moral: Friendship, wisdom, and patience are important virtues.

    4. The Patient Monk

A monk was walking and people spoke rudely to him, but he remained peaceful and kind. He did not get angry and did not harm anyone with words or actions. Moral: Jainism teaches forgiveness, self-control, and peace.

    5. The Little Mango Seller

A child had many mangoes to sell. One day, he saw a hungry animal nearby. He gave one fruit without expecting anything in return. Moral: Compassion and non-attachment are noble Jain values.

    Short Jain message for children:

    • Be kind to every living being.
    • Do not lie.
    • Do not steal.
    • Do not get angry easily.
    • Live simply and peacefully.

If you want, I can also give:

    • stories of Tirthankars for children
    • moral stories in Hindi or Gujarati
