the exact Jain stages before and after samyaktva, or the difference between aupashamik, kshayopashamik, and kshayik samyaktva.

In Jain Dharma, samyaktva means right faith / right perception. It is a crucial turning point on the spiritual path.

    Three kinds of samyaktva

    1) Aupashamik samyaktva

    • Arises when deluding karma is temporarily suppressed.
    • It is temporary.
    • When suppression ends, it can be lost.
    • It is like a calm state where right faith appears due to subsidence.

    2) Kshayopashamik samyaktva

    • Arises when deluding karma is partly destroyed and partly suppressed.
    • It is the samyaktva of most ordinary sincere seekers.
    • It is mixed with some remaining karmic weakness, so it can fluctuate.
    • This is the most common form of right faith in worldly beings.

    3) Kshayik samyaktva

    • Arises when deluding karma is completely destroyed.
    • It is perfect, irreversible right faith.
    • It does not fall away.
    • This is a very high and stable state.

    ---

    Stages before samyaktva

Before true samyaktva, a soul is usually in mithyātva:
    • Mithyātva = wrong belief / delusion.
    • The soul may have attachment to false views, ignorance, and distorted understanding.

In the path of progress, there is also a transitional state:

    • Mithyātva → Misra → Samyaktva
    • Misra means a mixed or wavering state, where right and wrong beliefs are not fully settled.

    ---

    Stages after samyaktva

After samyaktva is established, the soul begins the upward journey through the guṇasthānas:
    • It advances from samyaktva into states of
    - growing self-restraint, - vows, - reduction of passions, - spiritual discipline, - and eventually toward liberation.

    In simple terms:

    • Before samyaktva: ignorance and wrong belief dominate.
    • At samyaktva: right faith awakens.
    • After samyaktva: the soul strengthens conduct and rises toward moksha.

    ---

    Very short comparison

    • Aupashamik = due to suppression, temporary
    • Kshayopashamik = due to partial destruction + suppression, mixed and common
    • Kshayik = due to total destruction, perfect and irreversible

    ---

    In one line

Samyaktva is the doorway to liberation; its three forms show whether right faith is temporary, mixed, or fully purified.

If you want, I can also give the exact 14 guṇasthāna sequence in Jain terms.
