Can I meeting my mother in heaven even if my mother dies before me in digamber jain as a female layperson
In Digambara Jainism, it is not guaranteed that you will meet your mother in heaven / devaloka after death.
Key Jain understanding
- After death, a soul takes a new birth according to its karma.
- Birth in heaven happens only if the karma is highly auspicious.
- Family relations do not continue automatically in the next birth.
- So your mother and you may or may not be born in the same heavenly realm, and even then, reunion is not certain.
Important point for a female layperson in Digambara tradition
- As a female, you can accumulate punya and may be born in a deva gati if karmas are favorable.
- But moksha in Digambara tradition is not attained in a female body.
- Still, heaven is also temporary, not the final spiritual goal.
Jain view of the deepest truth
Jainism teaches that the highest aim is not meeting relatives in heaven, but liberation of the soul from karma. So the answer is:
Yes, it is possible only if both souls get that kind of rebirth by karma, but it is not certain or promised in Jainism.
