In Jain diksha, clothes are changed according to the tradition:

• Digambar diksha: the person renounces all clothes and becomes completely unclothed after taking diksha, as a sign of total non-attachment.
• Shwetambar diksha: the person wears simple white clothes and then adopts the monk’s or nun’s prescribed dress.

If by “bal” you mean a young child, then generally diksha is not given like an ordinary ceremony; it is taken with deep understanding, permission, and preparation, according to Jain discipline.
