Who are jain
Jains are followers of Jain Dharma, an ancient Indian spiritual tradition based on ahimsa (non-violence), satya (truth), asteya (non-stealing), brahmacharya (celibacy or restraint), and aparigraha (non-possessiveness).
Jains believe in:
- the eternal soul,
- karma,
- liberation of the soul through right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct.
They follow the teachings of the 24 Tirthankars, especially Bhagwan Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankar.
