In Jain Dharma, God is not a creator of the universe. The universe is beginningless and endless; it is governed by its own natural laws.

In Jain philosophy, the highest state is called Paramatma or Siddha — a soul that has:

• destroyed all karma,
• become completely pure,
• attained infinite knowledge, infinite perception, infinite bliss, and infinite energy.

So, in Jainism:

• every soul has the potential to become divine
• a God is a liberated soul
• liberation is achieved through right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct

The Tirthankars are highly revered because they rediscover and teach the path to liberation, but they are not creators or controllers of the world.

In simple words: God in Jainism is a fully liberated, perfected soul.
