What to do when feel trapped in life, feels like i am just stuck in materialistic life i don’t know how to deal with it don’t want to be escape also

In Jain Dharma, this feeling is understood as being caught in moha — attachment, confusion, and identification with external life. The way forward is not escape, but inner awakening.

    What you can do:

    1. Pause and observe

    - Sit quietly for a few minutes each day. - Watch your thoughts without judging them. - In Jain practice, this helps you move from worldly agitation toward self-awareness.

    1. Reduce attachment, not life

    - You do not need to abandon everything. - Begin by simplifying one area: possessions, habits, social pressure, or constant comparison. - Jainism teaches aparigraha — limiting attachment.

    1. Strengthen daily self-discipline

    - Keep a small fixed time for prayer, meditation, or reading Jain texts. - Even 10–15 minutes of steady practice creates inner balance.

    1. Reflect on the soul

    - You are not the trapped role, job, status, or possessions. - In Jain view, your true nature is the jiva — pure consciousness. - This reminder can reduce the feeling of being “stuck.”

    1. Practice right conduct in small steps

    - Be honest, gentle, non-harming, and less reactive. - Even ordinary life becomes spiritual when lived with awareness.

    1. Do not force immediate escape

    - In Jainism, the path is gradual. - Real freedom comes from reducing karma through right understanding, right faith, and right conduct.

    1. Use detachment with compassion

    - Stay in your life, but do not let material life define you. - This is a balanced Jain way: living in the world without becoming bound by it.

A simple daily thought: “I am not this confusion. I am a soul. I can live with awareness, restraint, and peace.”

If you feel very overwhelmed, keep your practice very small and regular. In Jainism, even a little sincere step toward vairagya and self-control is valuable.
