• Clean, modest, white clothes are generally preferred.
• Silk is usually not considered ideal in Jain tradition, because Jain dharma values ahimsa and avoiding harm to living beings.
• If someone says “matka silk is the best to wear to go to God,” that is not a Jain principle.

In Jainism, pure mind, right भावना, and non-violence are more important than fabric.

For pooja, wear:

• clean clothes
• simple and respectful dress
• preferably white or light-colored cotton

The real offering to Jinendra Bhagwan is shuddha bhav — a pure heart and right devotion.
