Parents have told do what you want. Take diksha if you want. We are not going to consider younas our child anymore. We dont know you. It’s upto you
In Jain Dharma, diksha should never be taken in anger, hurt, pressure, or as a reaction to family conflict. It is a very sacred step, meant to come from true vairagya, inner purity, and steady resolve.
If your parents are speaking harshly, the Jain way is to remain:
- calm
- respectful
- non-reactive
- compassionate in speech
Even if their words are painful, do not answer with bitterness. In Jainism, ahimsa and samyak samadhan are very important.
A proper understanding is this:
- If your mind is not fully ready, do not rush into diksha.
- If your mind is fully detached and steady, take guidance from a qualified Jain guru.
- Do not let emotional pressure decide such a lifelong spiritual step.
For now, the best Jain response is:
- Stay शांत and संयमित.
- Avoid arguments.
- Speak truthfully but gently.
- Seek a guru’s guidance, not emotional force.
- Let the decision arise from antahkaran ki shuddhi, not from pain.
If your parents are distancing themselves, Jain dharma still teaches you to remain full of karuna, kshama, and vivek.
Diksha is for liberation, not for protest.
