According to jainism what to do when your partner is trying to emotionally manipulate you to get his way and you can see tge manipulation

According to Jainism, you should respond with non-violence, truth, self-control, and equanimity.

If your partner is emotionally manipulating you, Jain Dharma would guide you to:

    1. Stay शांत and जागरूक

    - Do not react with anger, harsh speech, or revenge. - Jainism teaches kashaya-less conduct as much as possible: reduce anger, pride, deceit, and greed.

    1. Speak truthfully, but gently

    - Use satya with compassion. - You may clearly say that you see the manipulation, without insulting or humiliating the person.

    1. Do not become a participant in deceit

    - If someone is using emotional pressure, guilt, or falsehood, you should not support that behavior. - In Jain ethics, avoiding asatya and maya is important.

    1. Protect your own inner purity

    - Jainism values atma-raksha in the spiritual sense: keeping your mind free from attachment, fear, and dependency. - Do not let excessive attachment (raga) make you compromise your values.

    1. Set firm, non-violent boundaries

    - Jainism does not mean passivity. - You can refuse unfair demands calmly, without cruelty.

    1. Practice forgiveness, not weakness

    - Forgiveness in Jainism does not mean accepting harmful conduct repeatedly. - You may forgive inwardly while still choosing distance, clarity, or firmness.

    1. Choose separation from harm if needed

    - If the relationship is damaging your peace, ethics, or spiritual well-being, Jain conduct supports reducing harmful association as much as possible. - This should be done without hatred.

In short: see the manipulation clearly, do not respond with anger, speak truthfully, keep boundaries, and protect your inner dharma.
