What is guaranteed

• Not immediate moksha.
• Not that the soul can never fall again, if the samyaktva was only temporary or kshayopashamik/aupaśamik in nature.
• But it does guarantee great auspiciousness and becomes a seed of liberation.

Important distinction

• If the samyaktva is kshayika samyaktva, then it is permanent and irreversible.
• If it is aupaśamik or kshayopashamik, it can be covered again by karma, though the spiritual merit of having touched right faith is still significant.

In simple words

Even for one second, samyaktva is like seeing the correct direction after wandering for a very long time. That moment is not wasted. It becomes a beginning of the path to moksha.
