The Navkar Mantra was not written by any one person. In Jain Dharma, it is considered eternal and timeless—a sacred mantra that exists from beginningless time.

It is also called the Namokar Mantra and is the most important mantra in Jainism. It offers salutation to the five supreme beings:

1. Arihantas
2. Siddhas
3. Acharyas
4. Upadhyayas
5. Sadhus

So, in Jain belief, its source is not a human author, but the eternal Jain spiritual tradition.
