In Jain Dharma, the Navgrah concept is not part of the मूल Jain siddhānt.

Why do some Jain mandirs have Navgrah?

Because of historical and local cultural influence. In many places, Jain communities lived among people who believed in grah-shanti and planetary influence, so some Navgrah sections were added in temples as a social or devotional practice. But this is not the core Jain teaching.

Jainism teaches that:

• Jīva gets results through its own karma
• Grahas do not create destiny
• No planet can control moksha, punya, or paap
• Liberation comes through right faith, right knowledge, and right conduct

So, from the Jain philosophical point of view, navgrah have no independent power over the soul.

Then why are they respected?

Some people keep such shrines:

• as a traditional custom
• for mental comfort
• because of regional practice
• due to mixed cultural influence

But this should be understood as secondary practice, not Jain doctrine.

Jain mandir may have Navgrah due to custom, but Jain philosophy does not accept planets as controllers of karma or destiny. The real focus in Jainism is ātmā, karma, and moksha.
