Meaning of papa bheeru
Pāpa-bhīru means one who fears sin or one who is afraid of sinful actions.
In Jain Dharma, a pāpa-bhīru person:
- avoids harming any living being,
- is careful in thought, speech, and action,
- feels caution and inner fear before doing anything wrong,
- prefers dharma and restraint over indulgence in sin.
So, pāpa-bhīru = one who has strong aversion to pāpa (sin) and stays vigilant in ahimsa and right conduct.
