What are the charecterstics of a samyagdrishti jeev
A samyagdrishti jīva is a soul that has right faith / right conviction in Jain Dharma.
Its main characteristics are:
- Faith in the true nature of the soul
It understands that the soul is different from the body.
- Belief in the three jewels
It has respect for: - Samyak Darshan — right faith - Samyak Jñān — right knowledge - Samyak Cāritra — right conduct
- Faith in the true principles of Jainism
It believes in the Tattvas such as jīva, ajīva, āsrava, bandha, saṃvara, nirjarā, and mokṣa.
- Respect for the Tīrthaṅkaras and Guru
It has श्रद्धा in the teachings of the Arihants, Siddhas, Āchāryas, Upādhyāyas, and Sādhus.

It does not strongly cling to wrong views, blind faith, or ignorance.

It has a balanced mind and begins to see life with spiritual understanding.
