Should I do house warming Puja on the day of the 26th Nakshatra Uttar Bhadrapada?
In Jain Dharma, house-warming puja is not judged only by nakshatra. The main focus is shuddhi, ahimsa, satya, and a pure intention.
If your family follows muhurat-based tradition, then Uttar Bhadrapada may be used only if it is considered auspicious in your local Jain custom. But from a Jain spiritual view, the most important thing is purity of conduct, not the nakshatra alone.
So the simple answer is:
- Yes, you may do it if your Jain tradition and learned advisor consider it suitable.
- No, it is not compulsory to wait for that nakshatra for spiritual merit.
- A clean, शांत, non-violent, and श्रद्धापूर्ण house-warming is more important than astrology.
In Jain practice, avoid any ritual that involves himsa, intoxication, or unnecessary excess. A simple, devotional, and sattvik puja is best.
